Even though the summer of 2020 was a challenging one for many, it's fair to say that the weather was kind to us despite everything. Since this summer's hot destination was the backyard, many of you took this opportunity to give yours a makeover. The result: a ton of beautiful projects built with our concrete products! Here are our 5 favourites. 

1. Timeless luxury 

On top of having the most beautiful view in town, this backyard has everything to please fans of the classic style: huge terrace, dining area, hot-tub, infinity pool... we can't help but be in awe! We particularly love the Citadin M60 slab and the Supra Citadin 180 wallstone in ice gray that give a refined and high-end look to this sumptuous backyard.

2. By the lake 

Located deep in nature, this project truly is a safe haven. The backyard was meticulously designed so that it could fit in seamlessly with its surroundings. It has everything for a most pleasant experience at home: dining area, firepit, hot-tub and spacious terrace. Our favourite feature: the Richelieu M60 slab and its textured finish that echo those of natural stones. 

3. Trends galore

This project spoke to us because of the many landscaping trends that were used for the design: colour contrasts, wood accents as well as the two-level pool deck. It's all in the details! We totally love the overall look of the space that features our Prestige 65 slab. We would love to spend an afternoon there laying by the pool or an evening relaxing by the fire with family and friends, what about you?

4. At the heart of the forest 

Here, it was the immensity of the project that caught our eye. What better way to fill big spaces than by installing large slabs such as the Citadin 65 slab! Used here in the colour granite gray, it is perfect for the contemporary and refined look of the yard. With its pristine firepit area, this backyard is perfect to gather for gatherings.

5. Modern simplicity

The last project in our 2020 favourites list is this superb contemporary-style backyard. The choice of products is rather avant-garde and the configuration of the space adds intimacy. Finally, the Terrasole porcelain tile create a sleek look thanks to its ultra-smooth finish. Admit it: the whole space looks so relaxing!
