The advantages of using concrete pavers and slabs

Concrete pavers provide landscaping projects with a great deal of flexibility. They are ready to be installed as soon as they are delivered and under nearly all weather conditions. They don?t need concrete mortar and curing time is not needed either, which reduces overall construction time.

Long life even under big temperature swings

Pavers are jointed together, meaning that the units undergo micro-adjustments when the ground heaves under the duress of frost-thaw cycles and the loads they must bear. This keeps such pavements free of the cracking we continually see in conventional pavement surfaces.

Sometimes, underground infrastructures and local foundational deformations need repairs. No problem! The work is easy, because you can remove and reinsert the same pavers in the affected area. There are no material losses, no new purchases and no jackhammers!

If one of your pavers somehow does get damaged, you can easily replace it with another, so it?s a good idea when installing initially to keep an inventory of replacement pavers.

To replace a paver, just remove the sand around it, lift it out with a special tool or two flat-headed screwdrivers, replace it with an intact paver and refill the joints with the proper sand.
