Light-hued pavers and slabs have become popular in recent years. A surface sealant is therefore recommended for easier maintenance. You need to wait at least 30 days before applying the sealant after filling the joints with polymeric sand. Your patio can lose its original flair due to daily use and the weather. To maintain its luster, give it a makeover at least once or twice a year. Clean stains with the right cleaning products (Techniseal). If necessary, spread it with a stiff nylon brush, then rinse with clean water. Avoid using high-pressure water treatments, as this strips off the upper layer of the material which protects against staining.

Efflorescence can appear due to the natural formation of a layer of whitish calcite on the surface of cement-based concrete products. Normally, the efflorescence disappears on its own even after two or three years? exposure to the elements. If you want to get rid of it more quickly, we recommend using an efflorescence cleaner (Techniseal).
